rambo-x - scene 1
:: [08/30/03] :: |

the first scene from paul's work in progress: rambo-x.
when paul was younger than he is now, he and his siblings
home-movied many, many, many rambo spin-offs. this is the
latest of those movies - except paul is older, like he is
now. to better understand this scene, it may help to watch
the film's intro, here (wm
[2.37MB]).

what can i say about the sunkist commercial except that it's
more about puppets and robots than sunkist? well, i should
probably say that it was also mostly impromptu.

death of the brodie coat
:: [07/29/03] :: |
|
|
|
|

this is a scene from my abandoned movie, not about girls,
that i was working on during the summer of 2002. (it's in
this section because i edited it in 2003.) as a small reference,
it might be good to note that the brodie coat, in this movie,
represents the protagonist's carefree outlook on life and
his urge to have fun rocking out, playing scrabble, and longboarding.
unfortunately, since this is not the last scene,
and i don't have any of the final scenes, there is no resolution.
dave conger: director, writer, editor, actor
ben houston: assistant director
music: is this it by the
strokes

in an attempt to revolutionize the advertising industry, nate
and i suggest murder as a vehicle for comedy. it works in
movies, why not commercials?
